Something we could consider is that we don't revive two persons in the same night, so that we let Mactusk wait one night. If I die tonight but have found a shapeshifter, I can either tell this to someone who will be revived the next day or when I am revived myself. Problematic is that Mactusk would perhaps be unprotected - but then again, unless there's still an alpha kill (and there is some evidence that it has been used) they would not be able to kill both me and Mactusk. So this means the info is getting out anyway, as long as the revived person is trustworthy.
