And why would they necro a Wight? Well, my theory would be that they probably wanted whatever Poliwrath was (I don't think we ever found out what they were), but were worried that he was AFK since he admitted in the GY that he didn't realise the game had started. Therefore it's risky to necro back someone who might not play the game if they didn't participate in night chat N1, then got outed by the Seer on Day 2 and didn't say a single word in their defense.

Actually I just re-read that bit and I think I'd completely forgotten one of the UD mechanics - that the dead players in the GY can still hear the night chat of the (relatively alive) UD players.

I dunno. The one game I was UD we had a plan that we transmitted to the GY we were about to necro revive, knowing they could hear us but we couldn't hear them. It got completely torn apart, but that's not the point...
