The problem with GD revealing other roles being dead is that the idea of Protection roles is almost as valuable as the roles themselves. The very possibility of them being out there is a problem for the wolves. If a GD confirms that they're gone and the GR is inactive or just doesn't want the role then that's quite a bad thing for village.
