OK, so there's a chance I blocked TheMayor from killing someone last night (assuming I wasn't redirected again, I get no feedback as to whether it was successful or not), or someone was protected, or Vampire recruited, or a faction decided not to kill for some reason, or one faction was redirected onto Biggerlump so they targeted the same, or the wolves targeted the Vampire. Protection seems most likely, but with this many players and possibly more unknown roles, there's a lot of possibilities...
